Bluegrass 2000
From 1996 to 2000 I was involved in a serious of instrumental projects on Pinecastle Records simply titled Bluegrass ’96, Bluegrass ’97, Bluegrass ’98, Bluegrass ‘2000, and a compilation from the above known as Ultimate Pickin’. The core of musicians for these recordings included Scott Vestal, Wayne Benson, Jeff Autry, and me which was one of those rare combinations of players where the groove was always easy and compelling; great bunch of guys as well. We brought in various other great pickers on fiddle and dobro which on this project included Randy Kohrs and Ron Stewart.
